Our story

The reason I started the company began when my daughter developed atopic dermatitis.

 It started with a rash on her cheeks, then spread to her elbows, knees, and back.
The itching was so severe she couldn't sleep at night. As a parent, seeing my
child suffer like that was heartbreaking.

We visited numerous specialists and tried folk remedies and herbal medicines, but
none provided satisfactory results. We used steroids too, but the symptoms
returned immediately upon stopping, preventing any fundamental cure.

I realized that if no suitable treatment existed for my daughter, I would have to
create one myself.

At the time, my husband was a salaried employee and I was a full-time homemaker,
but together we began researching, consulting with experts.

Through our investigations, we learned that moisturizing the skin is crucial for atopic
dermatitis. If the skin could be properly moisturized, the itching would
subside and the barrier function would recover. So, we decided to search for
ingredients with high moisturizing power.

We also decided against relying on chemicals that force the body to act, opting
instead for gentle, plant-based herbs that wouldn't burden the body. We
researched countless herbal ingredients.

Then,we discovered “polyglutamic acid” in natto—a traditional Japanese fermented
food made from fermented soybeans—known for its high skin moisturizing effect.
This led to the creation of our natto lotion.

Thanks to word of mouth, this lotion became more widely known. As I shared it with more and more people, in the same way that the smile had returned to my daughter s’ face, a hope was born within me that I may be able to help people with similar concerns, and this is when I founded Suzuki Herb Laboratory.

Friends told me they were troubled by unwanted arm and leg hair, and this in turn gave birth to our Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion.

For this product, we carefully selected herbs that worked effectively to free users from the worry of unwanted hair.

We paid particularattentiontoz ingredients and combinations that would make unwanted hair more sparse and less likely to grow back.

Soon, our Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion acquired a positive reputation and generated many inquiries from　consumers .

Through experiencing my daughter’s skin condition and when confronted with my friends’c oncerns about unwanted hair, I gave repeated consideration to the essence of human skin.

As a result, my wish is to awaken the skin’s natural capabilities, to research and develop products that lead to healthier, more beautiful skin, and to contribute to assisting those people with skin concerns.

With this wish as the basis for foun ding Suzuki Herb Laboratory, we will continue our endeavors on into the future.
