Japanese wisdom into products

In Japan, nature has been revered since ancient times, and the Japanese people have lived in harmony with it and skillfully capitalized on its power in our everyday lives.

At Suzuki Herb Laboratory, the inspiration for the products we develop comes from the wisdom of our ancestors.

For example, the traditional Japanese dish of natto (fermented soybeans) contains polyglutamic acid, which we utilize in our product of “natto series”; our hand creams contain fukure mikan mandarin oranges and umé Japanese plums, both of which are local specialties in Suzuki Herb Laboratory’s home prefecture of Ibaraki ; and our “Phyto Veil series” uses the leaves of the Japanese loquat fruit tree.

While inheriting this wisdom, we also intend to cherish the spirit of reverence for the wonders of nature that has persisted since the dawn of Japanese civilization.
