  • How does the Natto Lotion for Face differ to the other Natto Lotion?

    It contains 4 times more of the highly moisturizing polyglutamic acid, so you can expect higher hydration and moisturization. It also contains polyamine, which is a substance that works against skin-aging problems, and adds the bounce and moisture back into your skin.

    If I use the lotion on my oily skin, will it make my skin even oilier?

    The Natto Lotion moisturizes skin that is under-hydrated and can be used on both dry and oily skin. The lotion does not contain oily substances and will not make the skin oily.

    Can it be used on the whole body?

    Yes. But we do have a Natto Lotion for the body too. Since the Natto Lotion for Face is 4 times the consistency than the other lotion, you may want to use it on particularly dry areas of your body.

    Can the lotion be used on children and on sensitive skin?

    Yes. The lotion can be used on sensitive skin and even on young children. *However, experiences differ to each individual. If you are worried about the lotion, or if you have ever experienced problems with skin care products in the past, then we recommend you try a patch test.

    Does the lotion have the distinct smell or stickiness of natto?

    The polyglutamic acid contained in the Natto Series is derived from the stringy substances of the natto, and is extremely moisturizing. The polyglutamic acid, that is purified from soybeans, does not have the distinct smell or stickiness of natto.

    When should I apply the Natto Lotion for Face?

    You may apply the lotion whenever your skin feels dry. It is recommended that you apply it on clean skin after washing your face or taking a shower.
