Shiori was concerned with her daughter’s body hair.
The mother and daughter pair became our first official ambassadors for 6 months (Nov. 2021 – May 2022), during which time they tried our products and documented the results. Our skincare adviser provided counseling throughout this period and helped them along the way as they pursued to achieve their ideal skin.

I was concerned about my daughter’s body hair
Kawamata：Could you tell us why you decided to apply to become an ambassador? What were your concerns about body hair?
Shiori: I had always been concerned about my daughter’s body hair, especially on her arms, legs, and facial hair above the lip. I was worried that my daughter will feel conscious about the body hair as she grew up. Some boys at her school picked on her because of it, so I felt like I had to do something.
Shiori: At first I was considering hair-removal for children, then I came across the ‘Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium’ on Instagram.
I wanted to become an ambassador and try the products for myself and tell others about it that also have similar experiences.
I myself have tried hair-removal before, but I was still concerned about hair on my face and thighs. I was grateful for the opportunity to try the products with my daughter.
Kobayashi: What were your honest thoughts about a remedy for unwanted-hair that can simply be applied?
Shiori: At first, I was a little skeptic. But as I read reviews of other customers, I wanted to try it myself.
In the past I had checked hair-removal products at drugstores, and researched from what age a child could remove hair at an esthetic salon. When I came across the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium, I was pleasantly surprised to know that such a remedy was available!
Even my lazy daughter was interested to try this easy method!
Kawamata: What were your impressions of using the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium?
Shiori: It really suits my skin and my daughter uses it too.
I had always found the baby-hairs on my skin to be bothersome, and would shave them with a shaver, but since using the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium, I don’t shave as much, and my makeup seems to settle better.
Kobayashi: Natsuha, what did you think about using the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium with your mom?
Natsuha: I was happy and when I used it, it felt so good.
Shiori: My daughter is quite lazy, so I wasn’t sure if she would be able to pull through. But she said ‘if it’s as simple as just applying it, I’ll do it!’, and applies it herself after her bath.
A great way to make it easier for kids to use!
I attached the dedicated spray nozzle to the bottle to make it easier for my daughter to use.
The spray makes it easier to apply without spilling. We use 1 bottle per month, so I added measurements on the bottle and every measurement line indicates how much we can use every 5 days.

Kawamata: After using the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium, you tried the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium Moist. What did you think of it?
Shiori: The Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium Moist has a more moisture-retaining texture, which I like. But my daughter didn’t seem to like the scent and the sticky texture. She preferred the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium which has a smoother texture.
The products are suitable for sensitive skin and easy to try
Kawamata: As well as the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium and the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium Moist, you used the Pineapple and Soy Milk Hair-removal Cream. Were you hesitant about using a hair-removal cream on your child?
Shiori: Since I myself had never used a hair-removal cream before and my daughter has sensitive skin, I was a little hesitant to begin with. But the Pineapple and Soy Milk Hair-removal Cream was advertised as being suitable for sensitive skin and even kids, so I felt that my daughter could give it a try!
Kawamata: What was your impression of the Pineapple and Soy Milk Hair-removal Cream?
Shiori: Even though it said that it was ‘suitable for sensitive skin’, I was still a little worried about it until I actually used it. At first, I used it on one of my daughter’s arms. She didn’t experience any problems with it on her arms or legs.
Natsuha: I wasn’t bothered by the smell either.

Did your approach to hair-removal change after using the Lotion and Hair-removal Cream?
Shiori: It felt great to remove the unwanted hair with the Pineapple and Soy Milk Hair-removal Cream.
Natsuha: I was so happy that the Cream made my skin feel smooth. It made the Lotion easier to permeate the skin too.
Shiori: She happily rubbed her arm and said ‘it feels so smooth!’. I think she was happy to get one step closer to achieving the ideal skin she had always wanted.
Children usually expect quicker results than adults do, so I believe that using the Lotion and Cream in conjunction was helpful. My daughter and I say ‘I hope our skin will look nice in time for Summer!’.
Natsuha is still concerned about the hair on her knees in particular, so she plans to continue using the lotion and cream together.
Shiori: Natsuha actually has a 10 year old brother who is concerned about hair around his mouth, so he started using the Pineapple and Soy Milk Lotion Premium.
I used to think that I had to wait until my children were a little older before taking care of their unwanted hair, but I felt great to know that there is a suitable solution for children’s unwanted hair!
This is what we did during the cold winter
Kawamata: Did you experience any difficulties while using the products?
Shiori: During the winter, it was cold after the bath, so we sat in front of the heater to apply the lotion.
Kobayashi: That sounds like a great idea. Applying the lotion during the cold season can be challenging even for an adult. As long as you stick to the recommended daily usage, it’s totally fine to apply the lotion during the day too, when it’s a bit warmer. We recommend you find your own preferred way to continue using the product.
I want to enjoy fashion that will flaunt my skin in the summer!
Kawamata: What kind of styles would you like to try this summer?
Natsuha: I would like to try a sleeveless style.
Kawamata: It would be nice to show off your smooth arms, right?
Shiori: Up until now, Natsuha wouldn’t wear short skirts because she was conscious of her body hair. Even in the hot summer she would wear long socks and cover up.
Thanks to the cream and lotion, her arms are now smooth. She is still concerned with her legs, so we plan to use the Pineapple and Soy Milk Hair-removal Cream before the pool season in summer.
